New hula studio

Our hula school moved last week, I had the first lesson in the new studio yesterday.
New studio is very beautiful, stylish (I felt it's like Bali interior) and big!
We'll have many lessons for new studio's glory...
Actually I was really surprised the change. But I like dancing hula, so just dance where I am....

フラ教室が先週引越した。昨日は新しいスタジオでの初レッスン。
新しいスタジオはめっちゃキレイで、スタイリッシュ、私はバリ風インテリアだなーって思ったけど。そしておっきくなった！
これから私たちはスタジオの繁栄のためにもここで多くのレッスンを受けるんだろうな。
実はちょっと変わりようにびっくりしちゃった。でもフラを踊ることが好きだから、ここでもがんばろう。

Salami

I got Italian salami from senior staff (she is 2years older than me, she is good friend for me, but I respect her so much) who went business trip to Minan last week. She bought it at supermarket in Milano. In Tokyo, the same salami is sold at department store.
I ate it with nice red wine with mom, yummy!!! Grazie! I enjoyed so much! I got drunk because of a bottle of wine, haha.

会社の先輩にイタリアのサラミを頂いたの。彼女は私より2つ上で、いいお友達だし、尊敬する先輩。彼女が先週イタリアに出張行ったからそのお土産。彼女はそれをミラノのスーパーで買ったみたい。東京では同じものがデパートで売ってる。
昨日は母と赤ワインを開けていただいた。おいしい！グラッチェー☆　超おいしかったー。ワイン一本開けて酔っぱらったな～、ふふ。

Honokaa boy

I went to watch a movie 'Honokaa boy' yesterday with Kani chan and A chan. This movie was so so nice! I like it! If you like Hawai'i, I recommend you.
The story is.... a young boy's great expereince in Honoka'a, Big Island, Hawaii. Hespent the heartful people, and this movie was taken in Hawaii.
We can see the beautiful view, blue of sea and sky, colorful costume of the cast, warm heart of Hawaiian people, many of smiles and so on...I could heard the voice of Hawaiian bird. Anyway I could remenber my trip to Hawaii, Big Island.
Not only the view, the story was nice, too! This movie makes people feel comforted.
We were heald by this movie......

After that we went dinner, we talked about of course movie, love, our company, job, future, life and so on. Kani chan and A chan got married last year, so I heard their marriage life, their story is so useful for my reference! It was so fun. And we ate Italian dishes in Roppongi Hills, it was nice dinner!

Missing!

I dropped my favorite pierced earrings------! I wore a mask (because I have a pollen allergy, haha), maybe my pierced earrings touched mask and dropped. I bought them Manuheali'i at Kailua, Hawaii.....shoked! They had gone as substitute my something wrong thing, I thought.

The sad news of co-worker's death

Today I heard the sad news of my co-worker Ikuno san's death, he worked for our Italian office, but he came back to Tokyo because he was taken a very bad sick, and he recuperated for 4 monthes. He was so kind for me, he worried about my business marriage, future and so on. His smile made many people cheerful, and he always looked full of energy...
But he was struck down by a serious illness........
I deeply regreted and I was so sad, he was just 39 years old and his baby is only 7monthes!!!
We have to keep our health, it's responsibility, I think.
Anyway I want to say him 'Thank you very much for everything, I was happy I met you.'
May his soul rest in peace......

☆Mom's hobby

My mom has learned wood carving for over 30 years, she goes to lesson every monday. Mom always supports me, so I did wood carving for her today. It was so difficult, I was tired soon, at last I cut my hand by carving knife, ouch!!!!
She is making trays, one is carved monstera, she likes Hawaiian motif. I think her work is good! We're happy we can live with her handmade wooden works!

Hula girl's party

Yesterday, I had a party with hula friends, our party has been held at A chan's house every time. We drank, ate, talked, danced and watched our DVD through the night. Every party, A chan has cooked for us a lots of dishes, yesterday's menu were; potato and meat gratin, oyster with chili sauce, tomato and mozzarella salad, rolled pork with vegetable, octopus balls(Tako yaki) and konjac sashimi. it was a lot of fun! I could spend very nice time!

Kitaro cut / 鬼太郎カット

I decided to set my hair like 'Gegege no Kitaro' , Kitaro is main character of comics on Yokai or Japanese monsters titled "Gegege no Kitaro". His right eye is his father (Medama-oyaji) , so he covers his eye by his hair. So I set my hair like Kitaro, I can cover my mark of herpes zoster (little Gorbachev) perfectly!

ゲゲゲの鬼太郎カットにすることにした。鬼太郎は日本の妖怪とかお化けの漫画「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」のメインキャラである。彼の右目は彼のお父さん（目玉おやじ）だから、彼は髪の毛で右目を隠しているよね。
あたしは鬼太郎のようにセットして、帯状疱疹の痕（チビチョフね）を完璧に隠せちゃうのだ。

☆Schedule of Sunday☆

I like Sunday, I can sleep more than usual, and I can do as I like.
But recently I go to hula lesson on Sunday night, so it's too difficult to make a slow plan. But I like hula......so I'M GOING!

日曜がすき。いつもよりいっぱい寝れるし、好きなこと出来ちゃうでしょ。
でも最近日曜の夜にフラのレッスンに行っている。そうなると、ゆるく過ごすってたくらみが難しい。
まぁでもフラ好きだしね。。。。イッテキマス！

Blue beer and girl's talk

I drank with local friends at local restaulant, I do like today's girls, we never have a stake, so I feel conforted when I spend with them.
We're good friends since 6years ago, we are differ in age, we work for differnt kind of occupation (one of them is a mother of 3 children, another works for a famous department store and another is managing director of good company), but we get along fine. Until last year, we often go dinner, drinking and trip, but because of my herpes zoster we couldn't see, so today was our new year party. And I drank blue beer, it was starnge, this taste was't sweet like blue hawaii, just normal beer. This blue beer has been made and is based on the drift ice in Hokkaido.
It was a lot of fun!　Girl's talk never end! M san's son gave 12pcs chocolate at valentine's day, so she bought 12pcs sweets for him, and she is on diet because her son will graduate from elementary scool, so she bought new dress for the ceremony. Y san talked about her boyfriend, he seems to have no sense of direction. J san likes Takarazuka Revue Company. We were drinking and takling for 7hours!

今日は地元の友達と地元のお店に集まった。今日のメンバーは大好きなお友達。利害関係がぜーーんぜんないから、彼女達と過ごすと気が楽なの。
あたし達は6年前ぐらいからお友達だけど、年齢も違うでしょ、職種も違う（ひとりは3人のママだし、もう一人は某有名デパートで働いているし、一人は超優良企業の常務さんだし）、けど不思議とウマが合うのよね。
去年まではちょくちょくごはんに行ったり、飲みに行ったり、旅行に行ったりしてたけど、あたしが帯状疱疹になっちゃったせいであまり会えなかった。だから今日は新年会だったってわけ。
そこで青いビールを飲んだ。不思議なことに、それは全然甘くない、ブルーハワイのカクテルの味はしないよ！普通のビールの味。このビールは北海道の流氷をイメージして作られたんだそう。
いい時間だった。ガールズトークは尽きませんな。Mさんの息子さんがバレンタインに12個もチョコをもらったもんだから、彼女がお返しを12個買って学校に持たせたこと、彼が小学校卒業するから、卒業式に着るために新しい洋服を買ったこと、Yさんの彼が方向音痴でデートの場所に全然現れなかったこと。Jさんが宝塚好きで追っかけ行っちゃったこととか。7時間も飲んでしゃべり続けてたーー！

Momory of this hula studio / 今までのスタジオの思い出 vol.1

I wrote that hula school will move soon, so I reflected on our experiences in this studio. I don't have a quiet talk, but I don't forget anything.
I introduce my memory.....

Our friend A chan is such a great cook!! She is amazing! And she made many cakes for us , it was the birthday cake for kumu (hula teacher) ,on another occasion it was for school party, and sometime she made for just us, no events.
We ate a lot kinds of A chan cake, apple tart, pear tart, brownie, banana caramel cake, roll cake and so on, everyone was really glad to eat everytime. A chan brought us happy feelings. Mahalo---;-)

昨日フラスタジオがもうすぐ引越しちゃうことは書いたでしょ。そう、今までのスタジオでの出来事、ちょっと思い返してみた。
しんみりはしたくないけれど、でも何も忘れたくない。だから思い出話をご紹介。

お友達のAちゃんはホントーウにお料理上手！彼女はすごいよー。そんな彼女は私たちのためにケーキをたくさん作ってくれた。
それはクム（フラの先生）のお誕生日のためだったり、あるときはスタジオのパーティだったり、またあるときはなーんにもない時にふと作ってくれたり。
色々頂いたよ！りんごのタルトでしょ、洋ナシタルトでしょ、ブラウニーでしょ、ロールケーキでしょ、バナナキャラメルケーキでしょ。。。もう他にもそれはたくさん頂いた。
いつもみんな喜んでさ～、幸せだったーー。
Aちゃんはいつもうちらにケーキだけじゃなくて幸せフィーリングをくれたよね。ありがとうねーーー

Hula school will be moving / フラ教室の引越

Our hula school is in Hatsudai, Tokyo (near Shinjuku, one station from Shinjuku by train), and our school will move end of this month.
I'm glad to hear the new studio is nice and bigger than now. But actually I'm sad, because I'll never go to our current studio after moving, there're full of a lots of memories and the smiling faces everywhere, I've danced there for 5years!

Most memorable memory for me is exercise for King Kamehameha Hula Competition in Japan 2006, it was not only happy, it was so so so hard.
This experience made our each mind to one, I could feel strong union, we could dance by power of alignment, we loved and respected all dancers each other and Kumu (hula teacher), of course even now!　But some of that competition menber left our school, I still love them, I miss them!
It was really sweet memory....So anyway I'm little sad to move new studio. This friday, it'll be the last lesson for me at the current studio, I'll dance gratefully. Ohhhhh, I knew it's so sad!!!!!


私の通っているフラ教室は初台にある（新宿から電車でひとつめ）。そのフラ教室が今月末に引越してしまうのだ！
新しいスタジオは今より素敵で大きいと聞いているからそれはそれで嬉しいけれど、でも実はちょっと寂しい。
だって、もう今のスタジオに行く事はないと思うし、今のスタジオにはたっくさんの思い出とみんなの笑顔が、本当にどこにもかしこにも溢れている。
5年も通ったのだものね。

私にとって最も思い出深いのは、2006年のキングカメハメハフラコンペティション日本大会という、フラの大会に出たときの練習だな。
それは楽しいだけじゃなかった。ってかむしろ超ハードだった。
でも、この経験は私たち、これまでそれぞれのダンサーだったのをひとつにしたって思っているし、強い団結力のようなものを感じられた。
強いひとつの気持ちで踊ることが出来たし、私たちはすべてのダンサーを尊敬しあい、好きだった。もちろん先生も。そして今もなんだけどね！
でも、その2006年のコンペメンバーの中には教室をやめちゃった人もいるの。わたしはその人たちのことも今でも大好きだから、ホントに思い出深い！
寂しいなー
ほんっと、いい思い出だったな。そう。だから新しいスタジオに移ることにちょっとだけ寂しいフィーリングがある。
今週金曜は今のスタジオで踊る最後のレッスン。感謝して踊るわ！やっぱ覚悟してたけど、寂しいな！

Cleaning up our bathroom / トイレ掃除

Last sunday, I read an ad in the newspaper.
The ad said
' a rich family and a rich company keep toilet lids closed at all times',
'the employee of a leading company clean up their bathroom themselves', (for example, the employee of Rakuten seem to clean up their bathroom themselves, it's only company doing like this in Roppongi Hills. The ad said so.)
'there is an old well-known saying in Japan, if you clean up your bathroom, something good will happen.
Yeah, yeah.....I've known this well-known saying, but I've not done aggressively (sorry mom!).
But the ad said finally 'let's start cleaning up your bathroom for just 3 minutes before going to bed and keeping toilet lids closed, if you do, something will be changed'.
I woke up.
just 3minutes!
If anything change, that's OK, because it'll be my mom's help, rigjt?
So cleaning our bathtoom is my routine prior to bedtime.

日曜、ふと新聞広告に目が留まった。
その広告に書いてあったこと。
“お金持ちや景気のいい企業のトイレのふたはいつも閉まっている”
“優良企業の社員は自分達でトイレ掃除をしている”（現に楽天は六本木ヒルズで唯一自分達でトイレを掃除しているとその広告には書いてあった）
“昔からある日本の言い伝えでトイレ掃除をするといいことがある”
うんうん、知ってましたよ。。。その“おトイレ掃除すると何か良いことが起こる”っていう言い伝えは。。。でも積極的には今までしていなかった。（母上、すみません）
そして最後に広告にはこう書いてあった。
“寝る前のたった3分、トイレ掃除をして、トイレのふたをしめることをはじめてみたら。もしかしたら、何か変わるかも？”って。
目からうろこ。
たった3分だよ！
何も変わらなくても全然構わないわ。まぁ、少なくても母の助けにはなってるでしょ？
寝る前の3分のトイレ掃除！新しくあたしの日課である。

Spring, it's the season of leaving and meeting / 春は別れと出会いの季節です

In every April, some co-worker will leave Tokyo office to overseas, and then some will come back to Tokyo.
I imagine our lovely boss Ikeda san will go overseas office! Because he was called the personnel division, president's room, and he came back to his desk with a serious look on his face.
Our company has a jinx, 'if you buy a house, you'll will be transferred to overseas office'......, It's terrible! I'm scared of it if I get married with co-worker, NO! lol....
Anyway, he bought his house last year! Mmmmm, if he will go overseas office, he is our lovely boss, and we can meet new respectable boss. I hope he'll still work with us in Tokyo.

毎年4月になるとある人は海外転勤で海外に行ってしまい、ある人は帰ってくる。
あたしは私たちの愛し尊敬するボスの池田さんが転勤になることを想像してしまった。なぜなら、昨日彼が人事、社長室に呼ばれていたから。そのあと、神妙な顔つきで戻ってきたから。
弊社には「家を買うと海外転勤になってしまう」ってジンクスがある。ひどいでしょ？もしも自分が社内結婚したら怖いよねーー。ないけど！笑
とにかく、そう、わたしたちのボスの池田さんは去年家を買ったし。。。ふむ。でももし彼が海外に行っても愛すべき上司なことには変わりなし、そして新しいいい上司に出会えるかも。願わくば、東京で一緒に働きたいけれど。

HIBISCUS

Last week, our hibiscus opened up! This is the first flower of this year, it was cold last week, so we were so happy to see. Flowers make us cheer up, mom talked to flowers 'mahalo!', oh, she is so cute, right?

I'm glad the exhibition is over.

I'm thankful that there weren't any big problems in the exhibition. I worked at our booth, I could see many customers and conpetitors.
As for me, I made many kinds of catalogues, and I had the meetings with architectural designer, so I did a lot of work for the exhibition, so I was so satisfied.

3rd day

Today I worked at our booth, Security Show 2009 will be closed tomorrow....

Opening day of exhibition

Security show started from yesterday. We worked at our booth all the day, many customers came, but it became snowing from afternoon, it was so cold!

Yohei chan!

Last night, I went home by a taxi. I was so surprised, because.....the driver was my classmate of kindergarten, Yohei chan. In Japan, the driver's name is written in taxi, so when I ride in a car, I realized him as Yohei chan soon, but we have not met since we left our kindergarten, so just in case I checked driver's name, it was his name. Ohhhhh, I know this Japanese economical condition is not good, also the taxi driver's job is respectable, but we're still young....!
so I couldn't talk to him, I don't know the reason....

昨日タクシーで家に帰ったけど、かなりビックリすることがあった。なぜなら、その運転手さん、幼稚園の同窓生の洋平ちゃんだったから！日本では運転手の名前が車の中のあちこちに書いてあるでしょ。わたしはタクシーに乗ったときに、あ、洋平ちゃんかも？ってすぐに気がついたけど、念の為に名前を見てみた。そしたらやっぱし、洋平ちゃんだった。苗字まで洋平ちゃん。当たり前。
えーーーー、今不況だってこともわかるし、タクシーの運転手っていう職業だって素敵よね。でもさ、うちらまだ若いじゃん。
なんか声かけられなかったわ。なんでかわかんないけど。

Tokyo International Exhibition Center

I go to the Tokyo Big Sight(Tokyo International Exhibition Center)from tomorrow, for a week. We run a booth at Tokyo security show. I have to wear a suit everyday, wearing a suit is very natual for men, but for me, it's rare!
